The goal of the Vice-President, Branding and Communication is to strategically shape and protect the global corporate brand and messaging. This role ensures consistent brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across all internal and external stakeholders. The Vice-President, Branding and Communication leads high-level communications including executive messaging, investor relations, crisis communications, ESG initiatives, and corporate thought leadership. While the role does not directly manage product-level marketing execution, it provides the framework and strategic influence to ensure alignment between corporate and product marketing.
Job Overview:
- Defines and evolves a corporate brand strategy as a premium Energy Services solutions provider (NDT for now) for NDT Global Group and its Product Lines. Establishes a clear brand architecture and market positioning that attracts clients and investors and differentiates from competitors.
- Directs internal and external executive communications for corporate changes (M&A, partnerships, ESG/sustainability, charity initiatives, restructurings). Builds and maintains communication channels including monthly business briefs, ESG reports, investor overviews, and leadership updates.
- Manages the global visual identity, tone of voice, and editorial standards across all platforms and regions. Designs and enforces guidelines for product presentations and graphic materials to ensure brand consistency and scalability.
- Creates trust-building communication for investors and develops and maintains investor-facing materials that highlight corporate strategy, market positioning, and performance. Coordinates presence at investor-focused events and ensures consistent, compliant, and compelling messaging.
- Manages PR strategy and media partnerships while cultivating relationships with key trade associations and publications.
- Leads proactive reputation management and crisis communications, establishing protocols, training spokespeople, and ensuring rapid, aligned responses.
- Develops data-driven marketing plans (advertising, promotions, content) to promote NDT Global and its portfolio. Ensures optimized campaign execution with clear ROI targets, continuous performance analysis, and best-practice adoption.
- Aligns and reinforces the corporate brand with product marketing, translating new product initiatives into corporate-level positioning and corporate sales enablement assets (e.g., enterprise promotional decks, executive customer testimonial programs) that reinforce the corporate brand.
- Monitors brand perception and industry trends and analyzes competitor positioning. Builds strategy around corporate-level market events Leads and develops the corporate branding & communications team, manage the corporate brand budget and forecasts, and oversees KPIs for accountability.
- Manages a small team of professionals to accomplish the above, with a clear focus on brand, image, and platform execution as well as internal and external communications. Collaborate and provide the framework and support to the product lines to help them excel at marketing their products and services to their niche markets.
Qualifications/Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration or related education is required.
- A Master's degree in MBA, Strategic Communications, Brand Management or related discipline is preferred.
- Fully bilingual in English and French, exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages are required for executive, investor, and public-facing communications.
Experience:
- Fifteen years of progressive experience in corporate marketing, brand strategy, and high-level communications is required, ideally in a global B2B or industrial technology environment, or within an leading agency serving B2B corporations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a director-level or senior corporate communications/branding leadership role is required.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing global brand strategies for premium positioning during periods of corporate transformation (IPO, M&A, market expansion).
- Proven track record in crafting executive and investor communications, including ESG reports, annual reports, and investor presentations.
- Experience building and managing relationships with industry associations, media outlets, and investor communities across multiple regions.
- Strong background in crisis and reputation management at the corporate brand level.
- Experience leading global communication campaigns, ensuring message consistency across diverse geographies and product lines.
- Budget management and strategic planning expertise, including ROI measurement for branding initiatives.
