ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS CENTRE
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in connecting individuals and families with essential services, financial supports, and community resources. This position combines outreach, administrative tasks, and client-facing support. The role supports program delivery by assisting with tax preparation, collecting and reporting program data, and facilitating referrals to financial budgeting counselling.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience.
- Experience in community outreach, client support, tax filing, financial benefits.
- Open minded and willing to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of community resources, supports and other agencies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Be in good standing with the CRA (to be able to assist clients in filing taxes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours when needed.
- Must pass YWCA Security Clearance with a successful vulnerable sector and criminal background check.
