As Director of Sales, you will act as both a strategist and a team player, able to mobilize your team toward excellence while remaining actively engaged with clients. 

You will work closely with the President and internal teams to define and execute effective strategies, open new opportunities, and capitalize on the most promising market potential. This role is ideal for an experienced leader who combines vision, execution, and a strong results orientation, within a collaborative environment where decisions are made as a team and carried out with discipline. 

Position Overview 

As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Sales is responsible for the performance of the sales team. This role combines strategic responsibilities, team management, and direct involvement in the field, within an environment where discipline, collaboration, and close alignment with leadership are essential. 

Strategic Leadership 

  • Ensure consistent alignment between sales objectives, the company’s vision, and growth priorities, in close collaboration with the President. 
  • Drive performance with discipline by adjusting strategies in line with market realities. 
  • Mobilize the team through clear leadership to achieve and exceed objectives. 

Business Development and Field Execution 

  • Maintain a strong presence in the field, support sales representatives, and actively contribute to prospecting and client retention. 
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement appropriate sales strategies. 
  • Monitor performance, coach the team, and continuously adjust actions as needed. 

Process Management and Internal Collaboration 

  • Optimize sales tools and processes to improve efficiency. 
  • Ensure smooth collaboration across teams and contribute to strategic discussions. 

Team Engagement and Development 

  • Recruit, coach, and develop the sales team. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance. 

Client Relationship Management and Financial Oversight 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while ensuring high levels of satisfaction. 
  • Track financial performance, manage budgets, and support the profitability of sales activities. 

Profile 

We are looking for someone who combines strategic vision, a practical mindset, and strong leadership. A Director who is equally capable of building a strategy and executing it in the field, with discipline and a strong team-oriented approach. 

Technical Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a sales team in IT services or a B2B environment. 
  • Strong experience in sales within the SME IT sector or in software development. 
  • Good understanding of the IT consulting environment. 
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and track performance metrics. 
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator. 
  • Experience with ConnectWise is considered a strong asset.

Requirements 

  • Valid driver’s license for client visits. 
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written. 
  • English is required, as some clients are English-speaking.
