Why we're excited about this position

Great work comes from understanding what's behind the ideas we deliver, and what they're meant to do.

As our clients grow, so do the expectations around how marketing performs. They want to understand how strategy informs outcome. This means how decisions are made, and how those decisions evolve as we learn more about their audiences, their markets, and their products/business.

This role exists to connect research to action, marketing to sales, and creative output to real performance. It exists to ensure that what we put into the world is always grounded in something meaningful - and that we're able to explain and improve it as we go.

Ideally, we're looking for someone to shape campaign outcomes from the beginning and work parallel to our creative and accounts teams, delivering the research and insights needed to push things further.

In this role, you will
  • Own marketing strategy across digital and traditional channels.
  • Work closely with clients to understand and define goals, KPIs, and success metrics tied to real business outcomes.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment from idea through to execution based on data collected and goals defined.
  • Monitor performance, report on results, and identify opportunities to improve for both digital and traditional marketing.
  • Work closely with clients to help understand and bridge the gap between marketing and sales, supporting the path from MQL to SQL.
  • Collaborate across creative, accounts, and external partners to move work forward.
  • Work in a hybrid environment. We work out of our Calgary office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week with the entire team. Thursday and Friday are our flexible working location days.
  • Be focused during core hours (9:30am-3:00pm MST) but enjoy the ability to explore research and ideas when you're feeling most inspired. Night owls or early birds are accommodated.

  • Communicate strategy, rationale, and performance clearly to clients and stakeholders. Confident presentation skills are a must.
  • Drive ongoing learning and adaptation to improve marketing effectiveness over time

To be Successful You Have
  • 3 - 5+ years in marketing strategy, planning, or performance roles with experience in both B2B and B2C.

  • Research and data analysis skills
  • Campaign planning and reporting skills
  • Audience segmentation and positioning
  • Understanding of, and experience in, both digital and traditional media planning, buying and strategy.

Your Human Skills

  • Able to positively respond to feedback and provide solutions as a contributing team member.
  • You believe in resolution over reaction - conflict isn't something to avoid, but something to work through as a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to talk to a room as confidently as presenting over Google Meet.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, while also being able to work independently with a high degree of self-direction and motivation.
