MARKETING COORDINATOR INTERN
RedPoint Media Group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator Intern for an eight-week term, effective immediately. This full-time contract position is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in publishing, media marketing, events, and brand promotion while working with an award-winning media company.
RedPoint Media Group is an award-winning publishing house and content-driven marketing studio in Calgary. Our brands and client work include city lifestyle publications, custom content, special events, and strategic partnerships across the community.

RedPoint Media has a hybrid office setup that allows employees to work from home or from the co-working space at CSpace Marda Loop. Some face-to-face meetings as well as event attendance will be necessary.
This role is supported by funding from the Government of Canada's Canada Summer Jobs program.
our opportunity
This internship is a full-time, eight-week contract position. The compensation is $15 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek, and you will be paid semi-monthly on the 15th and the last day of the month.
This is an opportunity to:
- Employ a holistic approach throughout all marketing activities.
- Assist with ad creation/placements/bookings within all print publications and online tools.
- Maintain the inventory of all in-house promotional ads, both in print and online.
- Maintain the inventory of all marketing and promotional material.
- Assist with the coordination of RedPoint's participation in trade shows, festivals, industry/media/civic/sponsorship events, corporate entertainment activities, etc. (these may include some evening events).
- Assist with event coordination, planning and execution of events such as Top 40 Under 40, A-List events, etc.
- Track and compile event collateral. Maintain database for various memberships, groups, invitations, etc.
- Write for the marketing email and website.
- Assist with research as necessary.
- Monitor contests and prize tracking.
- Maintain meticulous files, spreadsheets and various materials associated with marketing.

Your skills, knowledge and know-how:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Mac OS.
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and digital content tools.
- Interest in media, publishing, events, and community engagement.
