About Polysleep

Polysleep is a Quebecois brand of sleep products (mattresses and accessories), born in e-commerce and operated on Shopify. After nearly 10 years of growth, our challenge is now to strengthen a beloved brand and make it even more distinctive, while maintaining healthy and profitable growth. We are also developing Polysleep Signature, a premium line intended for B2B partners.

What makes this position unique

Here, content is not just a box to tick. It's the engine. We have an in-house professional production studio, a dedicated filming team, two brands to highlight, and a fast-paced campaign calendar. What we need is someone who can think AND do: someone who arrives with ideas in the morning and sees them come to life in the day.

The projects are varied: advertising campaigns, monthly themes, social-first content, collaborations with creators, video capsules, carousels, emails. No two weeks are the same.

Your mission

Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with the team, you will take charge of content creation and Polysleep's social media strategy. You will combine ideation, writing, creative direction, and performance readings to deliver useful, desirable, and effective content, coordinating with internal resources and external partners.

What you will do (concretely)

Ideation and editorial strategy

  • Define and evolve Polysleep's content pillars, with a FR-first approach and clear consistency between brand, product, and promise.
  • Design the monthly and weekly social editorial calendar: angles, hooks, formats, scripts, and priorities.
  • Propose creative angles aligned with our campaigns, Life Moments, and brand tone, in collaboration with the Marketing Director.

Content creation and writing

  • Write captions and texts for all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Imagine and develop video capsules, carousels, and visuals in collaboration with the studio's producer-director.
  • Adapt each content to the codes of each platform, while maintaining brand consistency and commercial effectiveness.
  • Contribute to content creation for two distinct brands: Polysleep and Polysleep Signature.

Platform management and community

  • Take charge of daily publishing and ensure community management with judgment and brand consistency.
  • Actively monitor the performance of each platform and propose adjustments based on data.
  • Collaborate with the media partner on the complementarity between organic content and paid campaigns.

Content creators and partnerships

  • Collaborate with the Influencer Marketing Specialist to develop the UGC and creator strategy: selection, briefing, editorial consistency.
  • Help to continually evolve the creator approach, sharing best practices within the team.

Studio support (occasional)

  • Occasionally participate in shoots to support the production: staging, light handling, presence on set.

What success looks like in the first 6 months

  • Clear editorial pillars and a stable publication rate, without excessive dependence on external resources.
  • A visible improvement in the quality and consistency of content on social networks.
  • A better rhythm of creative iteration with the team: more tests, faster, with better learning.
  • A solid base of creators to activate according to campaigns, without losing internal creative control.
  • A stronger, more consistent and better aligned social presence with Polysleep's business objectives.

The profile we are looking for

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in social content, brand content, editorial strategy or digital marketing, ideally in a DTC, lifestyle, wellness or home universe.
  • Portfolio demonstrating a real understanding of social-first content: strong hooks, simple storytelling, platform adaptation and ability to write in the brand tone.
  • Excellent French writing skills and good English proficiency in our bilingual context.
  • Brand instinct: you know what is in tune, what sounds false, what will resonate with an audience.
  • Good knowledge in photography, ability to capture or guide a visual that serves the brand.
  • Resourcefulness and initiative: you don't wait for someone to tell you what to do.
  • Ability to read results and transform simple signals into better ideas: engagement, reach, click rate, winning creatives.
  • Great autonomy, sense of organization and editorial judgment: you make content decisions without validation on every detail.
  • Assets: experience in UGC or influencer marketing, understanding of Shopify, Klaviyo or Meta Ads, experience in the sleep, wellness or DTC sector.

What we offer

  • Salary between $65,000 and $70,000, depending on experience, plus performance bonus.
