Product: Protection Relays, Fault Recorders, Energy Meters

Location: REMOTE - Work from Home Office (Applicants should be from these Locations-Toronto / Calgary/Vancouver/ Montreal / Edmonton).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5
  • years of Sales Experience in selling products related to Electric Power Systems industry, Transmission & Distribution, Power Generation Utilities
  • Sales Experience in Products like Protection Relays, Protective relay,, Smart meters, Energy Meters, Fault Recorders, Disturbance Fault recorders, etc
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully penetrating large accounts in a complex selling environment.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.
  • Experience with protective relay/recorder applications
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in team environment
  • Background check results satisfactory to company
  • Negative drug test result(s)
  • Very strong computer and business software skills
  • Exceptional organization and "get it done" skills

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a professional, innovative, and detail-oriented individual for the position of Regional Sales Manager. If you are a self-starter, customer relationship focused, a dynamic team player, have experience handling Power Utilities, are familiar with Power Systems products in general and Secondary products in particular, then this may be the position for you. Multi-tasking and time management are critical pre-requisites for the role. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure effective communication and a seamless flow of information between company and its customers.
  • Maintain the existing customer base in supporting their technical and commercial requirements.
  • Responsible for identifying new accounts and develop plans for product promotion and approvals
  • Responsible for developing annual budgets according to the growth plans of the company.
  • Responsible for working and developing channel partners and promote business.
  • Prepare and execute monthly and quarterly order bookings to achieve regional business objectives.

Participate in business development activities, trade shows, industry technical meetings and conferences.

  • Keep track of all the enquiries, potential prospects, customer records and maintain the CRM tool.
  • Submit weekly activity reports, consolidating customer meetings, opportunities, market intelligence, and key business development.
  • Support customers, create awareness and interest in company products through visits, demonstrations, training courses and telephone contact.
  • Partner with technical teams to develop and maintain a good level of knowledge of company's products as applicable to electric power system.
  • Work closely with technical support and Customer service teams to address customer needs.
  • Be updated with competitor offerings in the market.
