What You'll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
Using your strong communication and customer service skills, the Graphic Designer will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to showcase Cooper Equipment Rentals as the go-to for construction equipment rentals in Canada.
Oversee all design projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring alignment with brand identity.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute visual assets and campaign creative across required channels, including but not limited to flyers, catalogues, in-store signage, digital banners, social channels, print advertisements and external presentations.
Be a champion of the Cooper brand, maintaining our brand standards across multiple strategic initiatives and projects.
Ability to conceptualize and present the creative angle of marketing campaigns.
Prepare accurate, print-ready files and supply final artwork in the required formats and specifications.
Organize and maintain internal assets and image library.
Participate in brainstorming for projects and design reviews.
Work closely with marketing, sales, operations, and external vendors to understand project requirements and deliver effective creative solutions.
Support the development of templates, presentations, and branded materials for internal teams.
Assist Marketing team with the development of engaging social media content.
Oversee the visual identity of the website including page design and graphics, continuously work on improving our visual assets and user experience online and offline.
Assist with the development of short-form video for website, YouTube and social media.
Work with outside agencies and freelancers as required to execute on paid media strategies, and other projects.
Stay current on design trends, digital best practices, and opportunities to improve the quality and impact of our creative materials.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
Formal education in Graphic Design is required.
3-5 years graphic design experience preferably in B2B, industrial or construction environment.
Willingness to commute to Head Office, located in Mississauga, ON, three days per week.
Complete proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite especially in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effect.
Experience preparing production-ready artwork for print, including supplying accurate file formats, specifications, and assets to printers.
Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, hierarchy, and brand consistency.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Self-starter, capable of taking initiative to identify and resolve problems.
Knowledge of photography, cameras and the latest technology is an asset.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong time management skills, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with video editing and/or motion graphics is an asset.
Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset but not required.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
