Wages: $50,000-$55,000, annually

Position Summary:

We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Content Creator / Marketing Assistant to help grow Stoney Nakoda Resort's online presence and support broader marketing initiatives. You will be the person behind the camera and the content strategy, capturing what makes this place special and turning it into content that performs.

This role works closely with resort leadership and collaborates across departments including Hotel, Food & Beverage, Casino, and the Event Centre.

Key Accountabilities:

• Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content for social media platforms and general marketing use.
• Manage and grow the resort's social media accounts through consistent posting, community engagement, and performance tracking.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with resort events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Be on-site to capture resort events and experiences as they happen, including evenings and weekends when required.
• Ensure all content is on-brand, professional, and consistent with the resort's image and values.
• Monitor social media trends and platform updates to keep content strategy current and effective.
• Support additional marketing initiatives and tasks as directed by management.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic design or marketing with a minimum 1 year experience
• Hands-on experience with photography and videography, including editing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, linkedin, etc.).
• Strong eye for visual storytelling and on-brand content creation.
• Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, CapCut, or similar) an asset.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Experience in a hospitality or tourism environment is a strong asset.

Work Environment Considerations

• Outdoor and indoor resort environment; non-traditional work hours including evenings and weekends if needed.
