MATINÉE STUDIO is looking for a Junior PR Manager to join our Montréal studio.

This role is ideal for someone with agency experience who is ready to take the next step in their career by embracing greater ownership, responsibility and opportunities for growth.

Working closely with our leadership team, you’ll support the day-to-day management of client accounts while helping develop and execute integrated communications programs spanning media relations, influencer marketing, product launches and events.

Responsibilities

As a Junior PR Manager, you will:

• Support the day-to-day management of multiple client accounts.
• Develop and execute public relations and influencer marketing programs.
• Help build media relations strategies alongside senior members of the team.
• Write media pitches, press releases, briefing documents, reports and other communications materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, content creators and industry partners.
• Coordinate product launches, media events, partnerships and brand activations.
• Manage product seedings, creator communications and campaign logistics.
• Contribute to strategic recommendations presented to clients.
• Track campaign performance and prepare client reports.
• Support business growth initiatives and mentor junior team members when appropriate.

Who You Are

You’re someone who:

• Has three to five years of experience in public relations, ideally within an agency.
• Is a strong writer in both English and French.
• Enjoys building lasting relationships with media, creators and industry partners.
• Takes initiative and has exceptional organizational skills.
• Can successfully manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Has a genuine passion for beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands.

Bilingualism (English and French) is considered a strong asset.
