Under the supervision of the Head of Local Banner Strategy and Local Marketing and Brand Management, the incumbent will be responsible for advising the team and merchants of the IGA, Les Marchés Tradition, Marché Bonichoix, Rachelle-Béry, Voisin and Boni Soir banners in the implementation of marketing activities.

Here's where you'll concentrate:

• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize all local marketing intervention plans and tactics;
• Ensure the local marketing toolkit is kept up to date and engage stakeholders in its use;
• Develop new strategic plans to support the development of specific store groups;
• Validate the relevance and feasibility of interventions with the various stakeholders;
• Communicate strategic plans to the various stakeholders and engage them in the implementation of the different tactics;
• To oversee the execution of plans with the various stakeholders while respecting established budgets and deadlines;
• Measure actions, make recommendations and share results with different collaborators in the form of a post-mortem;
• Supporting the development and implementation of "test" initiatives for different banners;
• Develop and maintain a thematic content calendar for the digital media of the Tradition and Bonichoix banners;
• Responsible for the relationship with sponsored partners;
• Contribute to the strategic development, optimization, execution, and promotion of local and regional sponsorship plans;
• Evaluate, recommend, take charge of, and list all local and regional sponsorship opportunities and requests;
• Plan post-mortem sponsorship meetings with partners, analyze results, propose optimizations and write reports.

What you have to offer:

• You hold a university degree in marketing or other relevant field, coupled with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (experience in an advertising agency is an important asset);
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have a good understanding of the retail industry;
• You are known for your dynamism, your autonomy and your good stress management;
• You have a good strategic vision and good political skills;
• You enjoy working in a team and are distinguished by your ability to communicate effectively in both English and French (oral and written). The person will be required to work with peers from other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, and also provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
• You are available to travel occasionally to our stores, our partners' offices, or sponsorship locations;
• You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• You have an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, as well as to work under pressure.
