SENIOR MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, CORPORATE

You will operate at the strategic nexus of education, philanthropy, and government, driving the national conversation about the future of Canadian innovation and talent. You will take ownership of our most critical corporate publications, from the Annual Impact Report to research releases, and ensure our mission resonates across the country. Your work will directly translate into a measurable, national impact on youth engagement. Lead the communications that matter.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Post secondary degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing communications, preferably within the non-profit or education sector.
- Proven experience developing and executing communications strategies targeted at government, corporate, or high-level external stakeholders.
- Experience acting as a brand steward, defining and enforcing style and governance standards.
- Active participant on X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to craft compelling corporate narratives, media releases, internal announcements, and video content.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex publications (like an Annual Report) simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, content management systems (CMS), and media monitoring platforms with a willingness to adopt new technologies as needed.
- Demonstrated superior analytical, research and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outside regular hours on occasion.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
- Comfort with translation processes (English/French), an asset.

Expected hiring range: $60,000.00-$70,000.00. Placement in the range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
