Position Overview

Romero Distilling Co. is looking for a senior outside sales representative to join their team on a full-time basis. In this role, the Senior Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving growth by acquiring new accounts, expanding the portfolio within existing accounts, and cultivating strong partnerships with key stakeholders. A central aspect of the position involves relationship building, with a focus on achieving maximum sales to support the continued success and expansion of Romero Distilling Co.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make regular sales calls to foster customer relationships and ensure service satisfaction for both on and off-premise clients.
  • Plan and maintain an effective daily call schedule within your territory.
  • Meet monthly sales quotas and placement goals.
  • Prioritize selling, promotions, and merchandising opportunities by analyzing territory and accounts.
  • Keep up-to-date, accurate records of sales, competitive actions.
  • Identify and discuss market trends to improve sales activities.
  • Install and maintain point-of-sale materials in accounts.
  • Present at tradeshows.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Accurately capture order information and manage day-to-day sales order entry using designated systems.
  • Help customers with inventory management, product availability, new product placement, and stock rotation.
  • Take part in sales projects, account evaluations, proposals, presentations, and other related activities.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a related role.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a relevant discipline preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of sales and marketing within the spirits industry.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities and persuasive selling skills.
  • Strong judgment and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly purposeful, focused, and assertive, requiring minimal supervision or direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and market innovative concepts, exhibiting an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficient in managing complex customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with AGLC regulations.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel monthly.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4+ hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (product, displays, trade show equipment).

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75,000-$100,000 per year
