Position Overview
The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in expanding Medicure's market presence and driving growth for our product portfolio. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare, possess strong sales acumen, and thrive in building lasting professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Promote and sell Medicure's pharmaceutical products to physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
· Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Conduct product presentations, in-services, and lunch-and-learns with healthcare professionals.
· Build long-term relationships to foster product utilization and brand loyalty.
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and Medicure's product offerings.
· Report regularly on territory activity, customer engagement, and sales performance.
· Participate in quarterly travel engagements, including national conferences.
Carry out all duties and responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations and Pharma guidelines.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree (Science, Business, or related field preferred)
· Must have 1 or more years of proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
· Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong organizational abilities
· Willingness and ability to travel within the United States - up to 50% (approximately 2 weeks per month)
· Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
· Valid driver's license required
· Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Preferred Skills
· Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare environment
· Familiarity with CRM tools and sales data tracking systems
· Proven ability to build customer relationships and close sales
