BUILD MOMENTUM IN INDUSTRIAL GROWTH
This role is for a business development leader who builds momentum before the bid ever hits the table.
The Senior Business Development Manager operates at the intersection of strategy and execution - translating market insight into well-positioned opportunities and long-term client relationships. Working closely with senior leadership, estimating, and operations teams, this role helps shape complex industrial pursuits across construction, maintenance, turnaround, decommissioning, and reclamation services. Some travel may be required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive growth across core industrial service lines through disciplined opportunity development
Identify, qualify, and pre-position long-term contracts and major project pursuits
Build and maintain senior-level client relationships and act as a trusted commercial partner
Lead opportunity pursuits from early engagement through negotiation and award
Partner with estimating, operations, and legal teams to align pricing, risk, and delivery strategies
Develop and deliver client-facing presentations, pitch decks, and pursuit strategies
Represent the business at industry events and support broader market visibility
WHO YOU ARE
8-10+ years in business development, commercial strategy, or client-facing leadership within industrial or construction environments
Proven experience supporting or leading multi-million-dollar pursuits and long-term service agreements
Strong understanding of estimating, project execution, and labour-intensive delivery models
Commercially astute, with the ability to balance opportunity, risk, and execution reality
Confident presenter and negotiator with executive-level communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; MBA an asset
Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable operating with autonomy
