Role Description

The Marketing Coordinator supports the company's marketing, branding, and communication initiatives while working closely with the Marketing Manager, internal departments, project teams, and external marketing partners. This is a hands-on, creative role that supports website updates, social media, project-site branding, and company-wide outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, visually creative, and excited to help tell the BUILD IT story across both digital and physical brand touchpoints.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • You bring 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or a coordinator role. Experience in construction, real estate, architecture, or professional services is a strong asset.
  • You are creative, hands-on, and highly organized, with a strong eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency.
  • You have experience supporting website updates, social media content, and project storytelling.
  • You're comfortable visiting active project sites to capture photos, videos, employee spotlights, and project progress content.
  • You have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, website CMS platforms, social media scheduling tools, SEO basics, and AI-enabled content tools is an asset.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines with ease.
  • You communicate confidently and professionally with internal teams, site employees, vendors, and clients.
  • You're excited about helping shape how BUILD IT is represented across social media, job sites, fleet branding, and recruitment initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Marketing and Branding:

  • Update the company website with relevant content, project updates, and announcements.
  • Support the management of social media accounts, ensuring consistent and engaging content that aligns with the company's brand.
  • Coordinate with external marketing and PR agencies, providing necessary materials and approvals to support marketing campaigns.
  • Develop marketing collateral such as brochures, posters, banners, and presentations.
  • Help ensure brand consistency across all company materials and platforms.
  • Support the production and distribution of company-branded merchandise.

Sales & Business Development Support:

  • Provide marketing materials and presentations to support the Sales and Business Development teams.
  • Organize and preparation for set-up and attendance at Trade Shows and Conferences.
  • Create proposals, bid documents, and case studies for potential clients.
  • Market research to identify trends and opportunities in the commercial construction industry.
  • Support sales outreach efforts with targeted marketing campaigns and content.

Site & Office Support:

  • Creation and installation of site boards, signage, and promotional materials for project sites.
  • Support office-wide outreach initiatives, including corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and event planning.
  • Assist with health and safety documentation and software updates as needed.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Work cross-functionally with different departments to fulfill internal marketing and communication needs.
  • Track and report marketing performance metrics, including engagement, website traffic, and lead generation.
  • Track marketing expenditures and assist in managing budget.
  • Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with vendors to support project needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in construction marketing.
  • Maintain professional image internally (within the company) and externally (Infront of clients) to represent the company positively.
  • Perform other functions as required.
