Job Description:?

We are seeking an experienced Manager, HR & Operations to execute strategies across all areas of the employee lifecycle including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Performance Management, HR Operations, and other office duties as assigned. You will play a pivotal role in streamlining our processes, supporting employee growth, and strengthening our culture as we scale. Key Responsibilities:?

  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee all aspects of the recruiting process, ensuring we attract top talent aligned with Radiant's culture and mission. Manage recruiting coordination, scheduling, and candidate experience to support hiring managers.
  • Onboarding & Development: Lead an effective onboarding process, including developing and maintaining onboarding materials in collaboration with hiring managers and key stakeholders to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires. Coordinate onboarding logistics, IT, system access, and cultural integration.
  • Total Rewards & Benefits: Evolve and manage compensation, benefits, and rewards programs for employees across Canada and the US, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives, competitive, and well-communicated. Lead annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes including planning, employee communication, and coordination with brokers/providers. Partner with leadership on compensation benchmarking, offer alignment, and total rewards decisions.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Maintain and improve core HR processes, including compliance with Canadian and US employment laws, benefits administration, and employee records. Maintain the company's HRIS to ensure accurate employee data management, including generation of reports and analysis of data to assist in decision making.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate and support annual performance review cycles, goal setting processes, career development conversations, and manager training that promotes accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Culture & Engagement: Serve as point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters, providing guidance on policies, conflict resolution, and workplace issues. Protect and grow the collaborative, mission-driven culture that makes Radiant unique.
  • Operations: Collaborate with Lab Operations to support scientific and leadership teams and ensure smotth day-to-day office and lab operations.

Qualifications:?

  • Bachelor's Degree required with 3-5+ years of HR experience, life sciences experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of core HR processes: benefits administration, recruiting operations, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and culture creation
  • Knowledge of Ontario employment law including vacation/statutory holiday pay, intern classifications - or the ability to get up to speed quickly
  • Exposure to cross-border employment/visa considerations and an appetite to dive into payroll and tax implications alongside finance partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
