ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ROLE:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager in Calgary, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing ongoing exceptional customer service support to a portfolio of foodservice operations and maximizing profitability.
POSITION KEY INFORMATION:
Job status: Permanent - Full-time
Work days: Monday to Friday
Start time: 8 a.m.
Finish time: 4: p.m.
Location: #2, 1130 - 34 Ave, Nisku, Alberta.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all incoming and outgoing buying and selling requests.
- Report on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products and services.
- Collaborate with customers and team members to find solutions and prevent future problems.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve freight delivery issues, including delays, damaged goods, and discrepancies in shipment quantities or qualities.
- Proactively share best practices, solutions and insights across team to deliver results.
- Support administration in completing general tasks as instructed by supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 (two) years of Food Distribution experience.
- Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in a role with customer service.
- Basic Computer skills with Microsoft office applications required.
- Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.

- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt deliveries and service level agreements.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in working independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Understanding of the services provided by the Company.
- Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.

- External stakeholders and customer relation management.
- Internal management and employees.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office-based work with regular visits to the warehouse operations facility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This role is required to move around various facilities, including warehouse and customer locations; this may involve walking, standing, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced transportation environment.
- Some moderate lifting up to 50lb.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
