Servicing clients across Alberta, Frozen Solid provides temperature-controlled distribution and warehousing of fresh, frozen and dry products from our Calgary, Edmonton and Lethbridge locations. ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ROLE:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager in Calgary, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing ongoing exceptional customer service support to a portfolio of foodservice operations and maximizing profitability.

POSITION KEY INFORMATION:

Job status: Permanent - Full-time

Work days: Monday to Friday

Start time: 8 a.m.

Finish time: 4: p.m.

Location: #2, 1130 - 34 Ave, Nisku, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing buying and selling requests.
  • Report on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new products and services.
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to find solutions and prevent future problems.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve freight delivery issues, including delays, damaged goods, and discrepancies in shipment quantities or qualities.
  • Proactively share best practices, solutions and insights across team to deliver results.
  • Support administration in completing general tasks as instructed by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 (two) years of Food Distribution experience.
  • Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in a role with customer service.
  • Basic Computer skills with Microsoft office applications required.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.

  • Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt deliveries and service level agreements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in working independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of the services provided by the Company.
  • Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.

  • External stakeholders and customer relation management.
  • Internal management and employees.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Office-based work with regular visits to the warehouse operations facility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role is required to move around various facilities, including warehouse and customer locations; this may involve walking, standing, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced transportation environment.
  • Some moderate lifting up to 50lb.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
