Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Part-Time Business Development Associate to help us identify new business opportunities and grow our client base. This retainer-based, combined with commission role, allows for flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and reach out to potential clients through networking, social media, and referrals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospects to understand their accounting needs.
• Present our services and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
• Work with existing clients to develop relationships and layer products and services, or contract extension.
• Collaborate directly with fractional employees, subcontractors, and our internal account managers to scope engagements and understand client needs.
• Develop marketing strategies and promotional materials.
• Track leads, manage your sales pipeline, and report on progress.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales or business development; experience in accounting or financial services is an asset.
• Project management experience would also be considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to be professional yet candid.
• Familiarity with CRM tools.
