Are you a strategic, hands-on leader ready to scale a fast-growing tech company? Machool is looking for a VP of Sales & Marketing to lead our revenue growth efforts, coach and empower our sales team, and elevate our brand presence across North America.
What You'll Do
Sales Leadership
? Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
? Build a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing the SPIN Sales methodology to
refine customer discovery, qualification, and deal progression.
? Develop and implement effective sales processes, KPIs, and training programs.
? Work cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Success, and Product teams to
ensure seamless customer experiences.
? Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
Marketing Leadership
? Oversee and execute marketing initiatives that generate brand awareness and demand.
? Develop and manage marketing campaigns, content strategies, and lead-generation efforts.
? Collaborate with Customer Success to turn customer stories into impactful case studies and testimonials.
? Plan and promote webinars, events, and other initiatives that position Machool as a thought leader in the shipping and tech space.
? Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to ensure ROI.
What We're Looking For
? 5+ years of experience in a senior Sales & Marketing leadership role, ideally in the tech or startup environment.
? Proven experience coaching, developing, and training sales teams using SPIN or similar methodologies.
? Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and marketing funnels.
? Demonstrated success in creating and executing effective marketing campaigns.
? Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
? Data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and optimization.
Compensation Package
Base Salary:
CAD $120,000 - $150,000 per year depending on experience
Plus a $700 monthly car and phone allowance.
Commission Structure
- 2% of gross revenue from all new accounts secured during the first year (directly sourced).
- 1% on revenue growth from those accounts in subsequent years.
- 0.5% commission on first-year revenue generated by the team.
Equity
- 20,000 stock options, vesting over 4 years.
- 25% vested after the first year.
- The remaining 75% vested quarterly thereafter.
