General Administrator & Business Development Representative (GA/BDR)

About Us & The Opportunity

We're a growing boutique residential construction company focused on delivering quality work and premium client experiences. We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional to help keep our business organized and support our growth.

This role combines admin, sales support, and customer service-you'll work closely with our owner and sales team while coordinating with our production crew. You'll be the person who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Be Doing

Be at the Front Line of Our Business

  • Handle all customer inquiries across phone, text, email, Instagram, and Facebook with warmth and professionalism
  • Qualify new leads by gathering essential information and completing our intake process
  • Turn curious prospects into excited clients through responsive, friendly communication

Support Our Sales Engine

  • Prepare polished proposals, quotes, and client presentations that help close deals
  • Act as the bridge between sales and production, ensuring everyone has the information they need
  • Keep our pipeline organized so opportunities don't slip through the cracks

Assist with Managing our Finances

  • Track and categorize expenses so every dollar is accounted for and assigned correctly
  • Support our site supervisor with supply orders, delivery coordination, and client updates
  • Help maintain financial records in QuickBooks

Build Our Brand Online

  • Own our social media presence-post updates, engage with our community, and keep our channels active
  • Coordinate with our media team to capture compelling before/after content and project stories
  • Help us showcase the quality and personality that sets us apart

Master the Schedule

  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and follow-ups so nothing falls off the radar
  • Be the person who remembers what everyone else forgot-proactively, not reactively

You're a Great Fit If You Have:

  • 2-3+ years in administration, operations support, executive assistance, or similar roles and/or a diploma or degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Experience supporting a business team (i.e. sales, marketing, finance, etc...)
  • Experience or education in managing budgets and expenses / financials
  • A track record, or real-life examples of keeping schedules, projects, and people organized

Technical Literacy

  • Fluent English-you communicate clearly and confidently in writing and conversation
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, email platforms, apps, and social media
  • Comfortable learning new systems quickly (CRM, project management tools, etc.)

  • Highly organized - You don't wait to be told what needs doing; you see it, track it, and get it done
  • Customer-focused - You stay calm and professional even when clients are stressed or confused
  • Problem solver - You take ownership, think ahead, and help fix issues before they escalate

  • Team player - Reliable, respectful, positive energy, and genuinely easy to work with

Bonus Points For

  • Construction industry knowledge or a genuine interest in learning the trade
  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive), Canva, Meta Business Suite, or Google Workspace

What We Offer:

Compensation

  • Base salary of $45,000
  • Performance-based bonus/commission structure
  • Total on-target earnings: $60,000-$70,000
  • Phone allowance included
