We are hiring a Social & Marketing Coordinator in Toronto
As our Social & Marketing Coordinator, you will support the execution of Sahajan's social media, marketing, PR, and event initiatives. You will report to our Social Media Manager and work closely with our CEO and broader marketing team to help bring the brand to life across social channels, community touchpoints, and key activations.

The role
You will support the day-to-day execution of social, community, PR, and event initiatives, ensuring content, assets, and activations are organized, on time, and aligned with the brand.
Social & Content Support
- Support content creation and management for both the brand and Founder social media channels
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to support monthly content calendars
- Identify storytelling opportunities including product moments, founder insights, behind-the-scenes content, and community engagement
- Assist with filming b-roll and capturing content for social and marketing use
- Research relevant hashtags, trending audio, and platform features
- Support the creation of static ad assets and internal creative needs
Content & Asset Management
- Download, organize, and maintain photoshoot and campaign assets
- Manage props and materials for photoshoots and brand campaigns
- Support the creation and updating of creative briefs, product training decks, sell sheets, and brand materials
- Assist in maintaining the internal marketing calendar to ensure launches, promotions, and events are up to date
Community, PR & Gifting Support
- Support key brand activations in collaboration with the Social Media Manager
- Identify and execute influencer gifting opportunities
- Execute influencer gifting through Shopify
- Monitor social media channels and inboxes and flag partnership or collaboration opportunities
Event Support
- Support on-site brand events including setup, takedown, and coordination
- Organize marketing materials and liaise with vendors or collaborators
- Flexibility to attend events outside of standard hours when required
Customer Support & Team Support
- Support customer service needs as required, including inbox coverage during peak periods, launches, or team absences
- Help ensure customer inquiries are addressed in a timely and brand-aligned manner
- Provide general support to other team members as needed, particularly during launches, events, and high-volume periods
Here's what we are looking for
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in social media, marketing communications, business, or a related field
- One year or more of experience supporting social media (preferably for a brand; internships included)
- Experience creating, filming, and editing content for social platforms
- Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social trends
- Active connection in the social space with a genuine passion for social media and culture
- Strong interest in the beauty industry and its influencers
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative, with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Canva and CapCut
- Experience with Shopify is an asset
- Experience in clean beauty, Ayurveda, or wellness is an asset
- A growth mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and try new ways of doing things
