Since 1998, Tech-Wood Building Components Ltd. has been a trusted provider of Engineered Wood Products, Roof Trusses, Wall Panels, and Building Materials to Calgary and surrounding areas.

We proudly operate out of two manufacturing facilities ten minutes apart - one off Peigan Trail and the other right off Glenmore Trail, serving our customers with integrity, teamwork, and a drive for excellence.

Your Role: Sales Manager

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead and mentor our Sales team. This role is key to shaping our sales strategy, strengthening B2B relationships, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving results and achieving company targets.

The Sales Manager is both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor, guiding the sales process, supporting internal collaboration, analyzing performance, and continuously looking for ways to improve how we sell, serve, and grow.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and support the Sales team to achieve company targets and performance goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, and key customers
  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Monitor sales performance, track metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate closely with design, production, and operations teams to ensure projects move smoothly from quote to completion
  • Assist with pricing strategy, market positioning, and competitive analysis
  • Support sales forecasting and reporting to leadership
  • Help resolve customer challenges and ensure a high level of service and satisfaction
  • Encourage continuous improvement within the sales process and team development

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of sales experience (construction, building materials, or manufacturing industry preferred)
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically while staying involved in day-to-day sales activities
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, production, and design teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
