Position Summary

Our client service team resides within the front office of Dixon Mitchell Investment Counsel Inc. and is comprised of client-facing Investment Counsellors, Associate Investment Counsellors, and Client Service Associates. We are looking for experienced Client Service Associate to joint our advisory team in Calgary.

About you

Key Responsibilities

  • Support multiple Investment Counsellors by providing exemplary wealth management and client service, within our culture of stewardship.
  • Managing account openings, client reviews, meeting scheduling, and preparation of client meeting materials.
  • Preparation of Investment Portfolio review materials.
  • Managing and processing client requests. Partnering with internal teams to fulfill complex inquiries.
  • Always provide exceptional client service, which is efficient and accurate.
  • Support our team's event and community engagement initiatives.

Experience/Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
  • Post-Secondary diploma or four-year degree from a recognized educational institution.
  • Highly proficient in Office365 - particularly Excel.
  • Interest and knowledge of personal finance and investing principles.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Experience managing client order flow and a high volume of transactions.
  • Experience with custodial platforms such as NBIN and Aviso considered an asset.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) considered an asset.
  • Completion of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) program considered an asset.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation

Dixon Mitchell offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits plan.

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000
