Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, the Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing projects to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions for our various brands. This versatile position blends digital marketing analytical expertise with hands-on design work, involving the creation of compelling assets and interactive content that integrates best practice UX to attract consumers and guide them through various stages of the purchase funnel.
The specialist will analyze campaign performance across various brands and product categories, providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize strategies. With a strong understanding of digital shelf metrics, UX, information architecture, website best practice and eCommerce retail advertising (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.), this well-rounded digital expert will drive continuous improvements based on data. They will apply their expertise in SEO, SEM, email, content marketing, and paid advertising to create effective, brand-aligned plans that resonate with diverse buyer personas.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a strong grasp of user experience principles, and excellent project management skills. They will ensure all digital touchpoints are visually engaging, user-friendly, and consistent with brand guidelines, collaborating effectively with stakeholders to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
Role and Responsibilities
- Digital Campaign Development: Plan, execute and manage multi-channel digital marketing campaigns across platforms and retailers’ sites.
- SEO & SEM: Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page and off-page SEO and manage PPC campaigns to improve website rankings, traffic and conversions.
- Content Marketing: Collaborate with the content creators to develop engaging blog posts, videos, description & features for retailers’ site, videos and other digital assets that support the brand storytelling.
- Email Marketing: Design and implement email marketing campaigns, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics to drive customer retention and conversion.
- Analytics & Reporting: Determine KPIs and use tools (like Google Analytics, email marketing software, retailers; data) to track the performance of digital campaigns, provide actionable insights and optimize for better results.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing to refine digital content and improve CTR, conversion rates and other KPIs.
- Budget Management: Manage and optimize the budget ensuring maximum ROI, reallocate or claw back when needed.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to help design and develop content/creative for campaigns or to adapt creative for different strategies/ channels.
- Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the digital landscape.
- Collaborate closely with our Digital Manager to understand our communications strategies for all brands to make sure our advertising and communications efforts are aligning
Job REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing
- Digital marketing and content best practices knowledge is a must
- Self-motivated, creative, highly organized with a solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken (French and English), and a strong eye for detail
- Ability to manage several projects at once and to meet tight deadlines
- Great interpersonal skills, solid team player, great ability to adapt to change
- Background with external vendors such as freelance designers, agencies and copywriters
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) and Canva
