GGA-ARCHITECTURE is one of Western Canada's largest architecture firms offering services in architecture, interior design and urban design in Western Canada. Working from our head office in Calgary we continue to be involved in some of the most exciting regional projects. Since 1983, we have provided our services to all levels of government, public and private school boards, post-secondary institutions, corporations and many private development clients.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
REPORTING
Member of the Marketing team
Reports to the Team Lead, Marketing and Proposals and Partner in Charge of Marketing
You will work closely with the Partners, and subject matter experts within the company
GGA is seeking an innovative and talented Marketing & Proposal Assistant to join our team of design professionals and industry-leading technical staff. This role is a full-time in-office position, reporting to the Team Lead - Marketing & Proposals. We are seeking a disciplined, creative and enthusiastic individual whose role will include, but is not limited to:
ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Work with Adobe InDesign to create and maintain marketing collateral, including project cutsheets, resumes, templates, presentation/marketing material and other corporate documents
- Copy edit and tailor written materials that support proposals such as biographies, resumes, project narratives and other content.
- Write and review specific content for marketing materials that reflect the vision, mission and values of GGA and our overall culture and approach to architecture.
- Support team members with writing and preparing award packages
- Maintain a database system to manage various project data
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external events
- Other duties as assigned by the Team Lead
- Leading by example in all areas of work
QUALITIES & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- The chosen candidate must possess
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- A degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, English, Graphic Design or other relevant qualifications
- Intermediate experience with Adobe InDesign
- Excellent writing and copy-editing skills
- Proven professionalism and ability to work with confidential information
- A professional and positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration and teamwork
- Proven problem-solving skills and an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong time management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a deadline driven environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Must be willing to work in an in-office setting full-time
