The Role

As Senior Sales & Event Planner, you will manage a demanding portfolio of clients while overseeing planning and execution from initial inquiry to final event delivery. You will act as the primary client contact, ensuring every event reflects elle cuisine's standards of excellence.

What You'll Do

Client & Sales Leadership

  • Prepare customized menus, quotes, and proposals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, venues, suppliers, and partners
  • Serve as the primary contact throughout the planning process
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and grow accounts
  • Work toward agreed-upon sales targets in collaboration with leadership

Event Planning & Execution

  • Oversee full event logistics including menu planning, production, décor, and execution plans
  • Develop detailed Event Detail Sheets (EDSes)
  • Coordinate rentals, staffing, printed materials, and packing lists
  • Conduct site visits and attend events (evenings/weekends required)
  • Collaborate closely with chefs and event managers
  • Ensure smooth execution within client budgets

Operations & Inbound Lead Management

  • Manage inbound calls and prospective leads
  • Maintain client folders and event calendars
  • Ensure final menus are confirmed 15 days prior to events
  • Support internal coordination and cross-department alignment

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in sales & client management
  • Hospitality or food industry background strongly preferred
  • Event planning experience is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills
  • Comfortable in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Flexible schedule (evenings & weekends required during peak season)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Canva
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (flawless grammar expected)
  • Valid G Driver's License with clean record
