Building Futures is looking for a Manager, Events & Communications to elevate our voice, strengthen community connections, and lead our signature fundraising event to support revenue growth.
Rooted in respect and inclusion, Building Futures empowers people with intellectual disabilities to make their contribution to society. This role reports to the Executive Director and plays a key part in advancing our mission through events, storytelling, and strategic partnerships.
What You'll Lead
- Planning and execution of our major annual fundraising event
- Organizational communications, storytelling, and brand presence
- Sponsorship and community partnership development tied to events and initiatives
- Donor and partner engagement activities
- Creation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
- Tracking and reporting on event and revenue outcomes
What You Bring
- 3-5 years' experience in events, communications, or a related role
- Experience working with sponsors or community partners
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with the application of generative AI tools
- Strong working knowledge of social media platforms
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to inclusion
