JOB DESCRIPTION

As a part of the sales team and under the supervision of the operations manager, the account manager is a post-sale role that consists of maintaining relationships with clients. The account manager has three main objectives: to maintain client activity, to develop opportunities, and to ensure customer satisfaction with rendered services.

Knowing the needs of the clients, the account manager can respond to their queries, solve their problems (ideally with personalized solutions), and develop with them a long-term strategic partnership surpassing the initial sale. They will prepare meetings, service offers, tenders, and will also participate in the offer presentations.

The account manager will collaborate with the management team and the technical team. They must be proactive, determined, autonomous, and entrepreneurial with existing and potential customers. Always focused on the quality of services provided to the client and their satisfaction, they represent the company and the services it offers. Ideally, the candidate is familiar and has an interest in IT. In summary, the account manager's role is to satisfy the client.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with customers on a regular basis (at least 1 time per year):
    • Gauge the client's satisfaction;
    • Present financial analysis;
    • Present an evaluation of the infrastructure (in collaboration with the technical team);
  • Propose technological improvements (in collaboration with the technical team);
  • Make cross sales by proposing new services.
  • Bridge the gap between customers and the technical team;
  • Participate in project management:
    • Ensuring communication with clients and technical teams;
    • Planning in collaboration with the project team.
  • Participate in meetings with customers and prospects;
  • Prepare service offers;
  • Prepare bids;
  • Prepare contracts and renew service agreements;
  • Prepare monthly billing.

    SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

    • Professional, technical or academic training;
    • Good knowledge of the IT environment;
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365 with intermediate Excel skills;
    • Aptitude to work as a team and seek solutions as a team;
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills over the phone or in person;
    • Meticulous and dedicated to a job well done;
    • Interest in new technologies;
    • Bilingual (Asset);
    • Owns a car and a valid driver's license.
