About Polysleep

Polysleep is a Quebecois brand of sleep products (mattresses and accessories), born in e-commerce and operated on Shopify. After nearly 10 years of growth, our challenge is now to strengthen a beloved brand - making it more distinctive - all while maintaining healthy and profitable growth.

We are also developing Polysleep Signature, a premium line especially for B2B partners (retailers, designers, architects, hospitality).

Your Mission

Reporting to the marketing department and working hand in hand with the executive and marketing team, you will be responsible for orchestrating the social content strategy and studio production of Polysleep. You will combine creative direction, ground execution, performance reading, and coordinating internal/external resources to deliver useful, appealing, and performant content.

What You Will Do (Concretely)

  • Define the content pillars of Polysleep and Polysleep Signature, with a FR-first approach and clear consistency between brand, product, and promise.
  • Design the monthly and weekly social editorial calendar: ideas, angles, hooks, scripts, shot lists, formats, and priorities.
  • Create and/or supervise the creation of short format content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and the creative needs of paid social.
  • Manage the Wake-up Call Podcast.
  • Shoot, edit, and adapt social-first content, direct creators when the project demands more capacity.
  • Operate the studio: schedule filmings, manage equipment, maintain a library of clean and reusable content, coordinate photo / video / audio & podcast needs.
  • Set up a content reuse system between social, site, emails, product pages, campaigns, retail and B2B.
  • Develop our UGC / creators approach: briefs, sourcing, direction, validation, and reuse of the strongest content in collaboration with our marketing team.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team and media agency to identify high-performance creatives and iterate quickly from data.
  • Work with sales and operations teams to align content with product availability, deadlines, customer experience, and retail/B2B issues.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality: brand alignment, message clarity, execution rigor and delivery speed.

The Profile We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in social content, brand content, creator economy, short-form production or creative performance — ideally in a DTC, lifestyle, wellness or home environment.
  • Portfolio demonstrating an understanding of social-first content: strong hooks, simple storytelling, rhythm, platform adaptation, and ability to react / click / convert.
  • Very good command of light and agile shooting, as well as editing and branding tools (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, CapCut or equivalents).
  • Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — both in creative codes and performance logic.
  • Ability to read results and transform simple signals into better ideas: viewing time, hook rate, shares, recordings, CTR, comments, winning creatives.
  • Very good communication in French and comfort in English.
  • Creative sense, editorial judgment and ability to challenge ideas with respect.
  • Great autonomy, organizational sense, reliability and comfort in a SME context where speed counts.
  • Comfort in collaborating with internal teams, creators, freelancers, and external partners.
  • Assets: experience in UGC / influence, understanding of Shopify / Klaviyo / Meta Ads / GA4.
