Marketing & Events Specialist

(Canada Summer Jobs Position)

We are looking for a motivated youth who is passionate about community engagement, marketing, and nonprofit work to join our team this summer!

Position Details:

- Wage: Approximately $21/hour

- Hours: 35 hours per week

- Duration: 8 weeks

What We're Looking For:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Interest in marketing, events, and community outreach

- Organized and detail-oriented

- Experience with social media, Canva, or content creation is an asset

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities May Include:

- Assisting with community events and fundraising activities

- Supporting social media and promotional campaigns

- Helping create marketing materials and digital content

- Engaging with community members and supporters

- General administrative and event support

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for the Canada Summer Jobs program.

To be eligible, applicants must:

- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act

- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada
