Key Objectives

  • Manage and process invoices and payments efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships through clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
  • Support month-end closing activities and assist with financial reporting as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process accounts payable invoices and expense reports.
  • Match purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and execute timely payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary approvals and supporting documents.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
  • Support audit activities by providing required documentation and information.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
  • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
