ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Integrated Marketing Manager will work alongside our Founder, Operations Manager and CMO to oversee and implement marketing strategies focused on driving brand growth, engaging our audience, and increasing sales. Reporting directly to the Founder and the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing campaigns, crafting content, and analyzing results to ensure success. As the Integrated Marketing Manager, your role will focus on connecting the dots across all aspects of the RBD brand - digital, social, influencer, retail, DTC, PR - to drive community, conversion, conversation and cultural awareness.

The ideal candidate is experienced or curious about the world of needlepointing and has a passion for creativity, crafting and design. They must have a platform-native storyteller fluent across all major social channels - particularly TikTok, TikTok Shop, Meta (Instagram

  • Instagram), Facebook Groups, Substack, Pinterest, and Newsletters. They will help hone the RBD brand voice and how it translates across all marketing channels from content to copy to creative. We're looking for someone who is eager to join one of the fastest growing online needlepoint stores and play a pivotal role as our team scales. This person should be a self-starter with an innate sense of creativity, tenacity, enthusiasm, and have a positive, can-do work ethic.

You should have a deep understanding and experience of:

- How to build a cult-like brand with a distinguishable identity and loyal following

- How to build bespoke channel strategies tailored to the strengths of the platform and the unique habits of that audience

- What content performs best for Gen X

  • Millennial
  • Gen Z audiences

- How to build and nurture community, not just post content

- How to translate brand philosophy into thumb-stopping storytelling

- How to create 360 go-to-market launch plans for product launches and multi-channel monthly marketing calendars

- How to find brand-right partners for collaboration and awareness building opportunities

KEY DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the company's goals - including monthly content calendars, quarterly launches and activations (Online & Offline), experiential events, etc.
  • Content Creation: Ideate, create and manage content for email campaigns, social media, website and promotional materials, ensuring they align with our brand voice and tone, brand look and feel and brand values.
  • Social Media Management: Plan and schedule posts, track performance metrics, and grow our community across platforms (including, but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc)
  • Campaign Management: Plan and implement promotional campaigns, including product launches and virtual events like "Market" virtual appointments. Plan and implement buzzworthy, 360 go-to market launches for new products, restocks, collaborations, etc.
  • Brand Marketing: Collaborate with our team to brainstorm, create and disseminate innovate ideas for collaborations, partnerships, limited edition product releases, etc. This includes but not limited to influencer seeding opportunities, community engagement opportunities, Loyalty Programs, Stitch Clubs, Retreats, etc.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics; adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Founder, Director of Operations, and other team members to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Audience Engagement: Build relationships with key influencers, needlepointers, our community, our customers through dedicated outreach, ongoing conversations and fostering meaningful connections.
  • Brand Development: Help shape the Rachel Barri Designs brand identity and storytelling to resonate with existing and potential customers.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a creative or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience growing a team and managing a team of direct reports, freelancers, partner agencies, consultants, etc.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics software (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Klaviyo, Pinterest)
  • Creative mindset with the ability to craft compelling campaigns and content.
  • Experience with virtual event promotion and community engagement is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
