Area Sales Manager
About the Position
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead sales efforts within a designated community. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, building strong client relationships, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets within their assigned area.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for real estate, strong closing abilities, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager plays a key role in driving revenue growth and representing the company within their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of sales performance within an assigned community/showhome.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial client engagement through to closing.
- Proactively generate, nurture, and convert leads into qualified buyers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, realtors, and referral partners.
- Present and demonstrate showhomes, effectively communicating features, benefits, and community value.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using internal tracking systems.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and developments relevant to the assigned area.
- Ensure the showhome is professionally presented and aligned with brand standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop strategies that drive traffic and sales within the community.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets is an asset
Transportation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
- Adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is an asset.

Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Compensation: Commission Only
- Location: Calgary, Alberta
- Schedule: Weekly sales meeting required. Regular working hours are Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM, and Saturday-Sunday, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
- Coverage: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for arranging qualified coverage for scheduled time off and vacations.
