The Role

You will build our target account lists, run outbound, and book qualified meetings that turn into pipeline. You will work shoulder to shoulder with the founder and help shape the sales playbook from the ground up. This is a high-ownership role with a clear path to Account Executive or sales leadership as we grow.

What You'll Do

  • Research and build target account lists of invoice-heavy mid-market companies, often running legacy finance systems
  • Run outbound across email, LinkedIn, and phone to book qualified meetings with controllers, CFOs, and finance leaders
  • Qualify inbound interest from our marketing and product-led channels
  • Learn the product deeply enough to speak credibly to a finance buyer about their AP and close pains
  • Keep CRM and pipeline data clean, current, and useful
  • Test messaging, sequences, and channels, then double down on what works
  • Partner with the founder to sharpen our ICP, positioning, and overall playbook

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 3 years in a BDR, SDR, or similar outbound role, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • A track record of hitting or beating meeting and pipeline targets
  • Strong written and verbal communication. You can write a cold email someone actually replies to
  • Comfortable learning a technical product and explaining it in plain language
  • Self-directed and energized by the ambiguity of an early-stage startup
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce

Bonus Points

  • Experience selling to finance, accounting, or operations buyers
  • Familiarity with ERPs, accounting software, or fintech
  • You have been an early sales hire before and want to do it again
