To represent the evolution, modernity, and diversity of Isarta’s services over time on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, it was decided that it would be an acronym for: «Interface of Specialized Algorithms for Recruitment, Trends and Academics» (ISARTA)
However, the background story is that in 2003, the founder was looking for a short (5 or 6 letters maximum) domain name that was quick to type into a web browser’s address bar, simple and easy to remember, sounded good, and was available for a ‘.com’, not an easy task! With all these constraints, the idea finally came by simply contracting the first name of the founder (Arta) and that of his spouse (Isabelle), which gave Isarta and therefore isarta.com
